Blow Their Brains Out! [24.01.07]

By Hannah Cawthray

After watching the first of five episodes of the recent BBC ‘Five Days’ thriller, in which a mother is abducted and her 2 children are left on the side of the road wondering what on earth happened to Mummy. The story develops and the children wander off in search of their mother, and, sure as eggs are eggs, the kids are also abducted by a random dodgy-looking man.

What, I ask you, in God’s name possesses men to pick up random children innocently going about their non-worldly business in order to abuse them? It is seriously disturbing that such men are in rather excessive supply not only in England but the world over. So why then, when I turn on the radio the following morning to hear that our prisons are overcrowded so courts are giving out custodial sentences to relieve the issue, are we keeping these repulsive, humanity-hating paedophiles alive??

For crying out loud, what the heck was wrong with erasing these sick b**tards like we did in times gone by? Instead, we continue to listen to the tree-hugging human rights do-gooders and keep these twisted, beyond-hope individuals alive in institutions that try the softly, softly approach of gentle coercion and re-integration into our already mutilated society. And we good tax-paying citizens are the daft beggars who fork out our well-earned cash to keep these freaks in DVD players and play stations. It is all totally wrong and I do not condone any part of the government’s policy on this issue.

Have your say...

I agree. It is very simple to me. If you break the law, you
should go to prison. I mange to get through most of my week without breaking the law - why can't they. Oh, I know, let's blame it on their upbringing. It was a bit hard, so that excuses them when they steal from people who work hard and earn their worldly possessions. Bring back Norman Tebbitt.

Can I just point out that not all employees of prego* have extremely right wing views. Daz reads The Guardian, has long hair and eats organic fruit.

Jared [prego*]

Does that mean that Daz is a lezzer?

Steve [prego*]

…and I was going to invite Prego to pitch for our whole DM account!

Steve - every time I see you I want to cry

Sales & Marketing Director [Adare]

What kind of crying is that? Pity? Sadness? Pain? Fear? Happiness? Or are there other kinds?

I think we'd have had to restrain the Duchess (HannaH) if this had made it to our screens ... Harry Enfield had a character called Paddy the Paedophile in his new BBC comedy series. Scripts were written, costumes designed, etc until someone at BBC suggested it might not be a good idea.

Lezza Daz [prego*]

I'm not this right wing about other issues, I just feel that people who think its OK to meddle with children shouldn't walk on this earth like other normal people do...
