Manchester Art Galleries approached prego* to develop a piece of interactive content for one of their most famous paintings by Ford Maddox Brown.
The interactive content was designed to encourage teachers and pupils to engage with the painting and understand its significance in Victorian history. Importantly the interactive would increase the number of visitors to the gallery. You can see the work at http://alturl.com/hfft.
The idea was so well received and innovative within the sector that it was put forward for a Children's BAFTA. Not only were we nominated, but Rob and Alex, from Manchester Art Galleries enjoyed hob nobbing with a spectacle of B list celebs at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane in that London.
Not only did Rob spend twenty minutes playing the Wii with The Chuckle Brothers, but he and Alex shared a glass of bubbly with Danni Minogue, Geri Halliwell, Rachel Stevens and none other than Keith Chegwin.
