Otley-based advertising agency prego* have commissioned an award-winning photographer to document the spirit of the region.
Titled ‘Welcome to prego* Country’, the work celebrates the unique landscape, heritage and people of the area – as well as marking the agency’s decision to stay in the Otley area.
Says Otley-born managing director, Steve Henry: “We’ve grown remarkably quickly and have taken on 4 new members of staff. Rather than move to the bright lights of Leeds city centre, we decided to stay in the area. Clients love visiting us, and we find the open space and landscape inspires what we do”.
The agency has recently set-up a new 2,000 square foot office and studio in Wharfebank Business Centre – and it was this that sparked the idea of commissioning Guy Farrow to produce the shots.
Continues Steve: “Guy has produced great work for commercial clients like adidas. Our brief to him was simply to capture the spirit of ‘prego* Country’, with all its beauty and quirks.
The resulting exhibition is showcased on the agency’s website at www.prego.co.uk.
“We think the collection says a lot about us as an agency – that we are different, and our different environment inspires us”, says Steve.
